As part of its current flagship exhibition, which retraces the final moments of Vincent Van Gogh's life in Auvers-sur-Oise, the Parisian institution offers you the opportunity to have a chat with a Vincent that feels more real than ever. This incredible experience is made possible thanks to an artificial intelligence developed by a company from Alsace.
Hello Vincent
The Musée d'Orsay offers you a unique and personalized encounter at the end of the exhibition dedicated to Vincent Van Gogh. With over 900 love letters and incredible stories to share, this is an experience you won't want to miss. So go ahead, step into the world of Vincent and let his words touch your heart.
Letters written by the painter, with the help of a specialized historian, Dr. Wouter van der Veen, the Strasbourg company brings to life an avatar as realistic as possible. This avatar embodies the artist while painting The Wheatfield with Crows, a famous painting completed just weeks before the artist's death. A unique experience that allows you to extend the exhibition a little longer to learn even more about the fascinating and tragic life of Vincent Van Gogh.Voir cette publication sur Instagram

As the creators themselves say, it is still being developed. It only recognizes proper nouns with difficulty, and some questions leave our poor Vincent a bit speechless. Well, it's still a good start, which should improve very quickly to one day allow us, who knows, to have a conversation with Van Gogh about real estate prices in Paris in 1870.
