We were just thinking that musical shows have been a bit missing from Paris's live entertainment scene lately. Fortunately, director Thomas Jolly always has more than one trick up his sleeve and announced on Monday, October 12, that he's working on a show dedicated to Dalida's life. Titled Dalida in paradisco, this spectacular production should come to life in 2027 at the Dôme de Paris, before embarking on a tour across France, Geneva, and Brussels.

Bringing a singing legend back to life
Starmania, the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2024 Paris Olympics… and then Dalida. Really, it's just the natural follow-up to a series of increasingly spectacular artistic projects for Thomas Jolly. He wants to explore "her life, her journey as a woman and her career as an artist [which] create exceptional material for a show", as he revealed on France Inter. A way to introduce the general public to this singing monument, who passed away in 1987, and her most iconic hits like "Let Me Dance" and "Die on Stage".
