The Editor

On February 22, 2021, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo broke the hearts of all fans, announcing the end of their duo. More than five and a half years later, the wound is still fresh for some. Fortunately, this brand new event, an unexpected Daft Punk reunion, might just help you ease your heartache a little. To do so, head to the 3rd arrondissement to discover Around the World.

Looking back at a unique success

Between 1997 and 2007, Daft Punk reached the peak of their success. They churned out hit after hit and tours around the world, delivering unique, accessible and popular music. Hidden behind their helmets, they set dancefloors on fire around the globe with iconic songs such as “Harder

, Better, Faster, Stronger", "One More Time", or even "Around the World", which the exhibition launching at the end of November takes its name from. According to initial reports, the presentation will delve into the behind-the-scenes and history of the duo formed by these two former classmates from the 17th arrondissement.

In the Intimacy of the Daft Punk Mystery

Through a series of snapshots — 65 archival images of the group — the public will be able to admire the musicians in various contexts: preparing an awards ceremony, in the backstage areas of a concert in Los Angeles, at the Tokyo subway exit, or seated at a PMU bar counter, enjoying a coffee as if nothing were out of the ordinary, helmet screwed firmly on their heads. An eclectic display, resulting from the work of many photographers, with the dates and exhibition location currently kept under wraps. However, we're inviting you to join us from October 23rd at a showroom at 58, rue Volta (3rd), to enjoy a preview presentation event!
