All throughout the holiday season, the castles in the Île-de-France region present unique shows themed around Christmas. Here’s a roundup of all the enchanting performances you won’t want to miss at the end of 2025!

The Fabulous Christmas, at the Château de Rambouillet 

How did Christmas really begin ? What is the true story among all the tales that are told ? By taking you on a journey through time and eras, The Fabulous Christmas offers you a magical hour revolving around three Christmases : from that of the Queen of France to the Roaring Twenties, including Ernest Hemingway’s. And there’s nothing like journeying through the centuries within such a historic building ! From room to room in the château, in splendid decor and costumes, you will travel through time alongside Ilda and a group of 700 volunteers and actors. Enjoy it, this is the last edition of this show !
