The Editor

It was in 1966 that Yves Saint Laurent shook things up by having a woman walk the runway in a tuxedo for the first time. This bold move forever changed fashion and the role of clothing in women's empowerment. Fifty-nine years later, the Salon du Vintage Paris celebrates this groundbreaking act with a unique retrospective.

The Power of Femininity, by Yves Saint Laurent

Under the passionate gaze of Anouschka, collector and curator of the exhibition, the Silhouettes of Power exhibition traces thirty-five years of creations, from 1966 to 2001. Structured jackets, perfectly tailored pants, playful textures, and sculptural silhouettes: the YSL tuxedo is presented in all its forms, like a manifesto of elegance and confidence.

Bridging modernity and heritage, this rare exhibition immerses visitors in the creator's universe, where black becomes light and tailoring transforms into a suit of power. A vibrant tribute to the vision of a man who made clothing a tool of freedom.

A Weekend of Style, Luxury, and Vintage

Beyond the exhibition, the Salon du Vintage – Ultimate Luxury is shaping up to be THE fashion event of the autumn. More than 150 selected exhibitors will showcase their treasures: haute couture, design, accessories, watches, and collector furniture. It’s the perfect chance to score a piece from Dior, Hermès, or Chanel, or to get started on your Christmas gift list.

Among the new features, there's a certification stand run by experts from Nouvelle Étude, and exclusive live sales in partnership with the Whatnot platform, where Hermès and Chanel bags will be offered starting at just 1 euro.

For the most passionate, a VIP opening night will take place on Friday, November 14 before a weekend filled with luxury, fashion, and vintage vibes.
