After months, if not years, of waiting, the Max streaming platform (formerly HBO Max) will finally be available in France in the summer of 2024. And let's just say that its immense catalog makes us very excited. We know some who must be shaking over at Netflix or Prime Video.

Harry Potter, Batman, Game of Thrones, True Detective, or even The Last of Us, here's a sneak peek of the dream lineup awaiting you in the coming months. Warner films and HBO series will be brought together in Europe starting May 21 on one single streaming platform, and it's going to be epic.


The site accessible before the Olympics

The company announced that the launch of Max in Europe would happen in two stages. Initially, the site would be launched on May 21, 2024 in the 22 countries where HBO Max is already available. It will then be made available in the remaining countries at a later date, particularly in France and Belgium. Although no specific date has been disclosed yet, it will be before the start of the Olympics, as the games will be fully broadcast on Max.

One of the main features of this new offering is a dedicated section for sports and news, including live broadcasts. The sports programs will be broadcast from the Eurosport catalog, covering "Grandslam tennis tournaments, the three Grand Cycling Tours, the 24 hours of Le Mans, and all the major winter sports world championships," among others. .
