The appointment is set for May 2026
Mark this date somewhere: May 1, 2026, The Devil Wears Prada 2 will hit the big screens. So, we have less than one year to wait to dive back into that unique and totally New York vibe that has been thrilling us for nearly 20 years. The story is expected to still revolve around the prestigious American fashion magazine Runway, led by Miranda Priestly, as confirmed by Deadline. However, this time, she will have to confront a major and very current issue: the decline of print media.
A casting that is still a secret for now
Although the release date has been set, the casting details are still under wraps.
Currently, there is no official information about the casting. Given the potential script written by Aline Brosh McKenna — who also wrote the first installment — we obviously expect to see Meryl Streep stepping back into the shoes of the elegant and tyrannical Miranda Priestly. It would also make sense to see Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and even Stanley Tucci reprise their respective roles. Stay tuned: Disney's confirmation of the cast should be coming soon!Voir cette publication sur Instagram
