To catch all the screenings of the International Fantastic Film Festival, just head east, four hours from Paris, and you'll find yourself in Gérardmer, a charming town in the Vosges, graced with a beautiful lake and a ski resort. From January 31 to February 2, the 32nd edition of this event offers all kinds of screenings: shorts and feature films, a night dedicated to a film or a director, and even video screenings, all revolving around the genres of horror and fantasy.
A concept that's missing in the capital, but don't worry! The French Cinematheque will keep the thrills alive by screening 9 films from the festival's selection a few days after it wraps up, from February 5 to 9.

The Strange in the Eye of Cinema
At the beginning of February, Paris will likely don its eternal gray, dark, and cold attire: the perfect mood to snuggle up with your beloved in front of a particularly thrilling feature film. To dive into the twists and turns of a world filled with horror and/or the fantastic, one should pick the right program, hop on the 14, and head to one of the upcoming screenings.
