The Exciting New Releases That Have Caught Our Eye

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

Between the intrigues of Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon (which is also returning this year for a season 3!), we’re heading back to Westeros to follow the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk), a wandering knight who's as naive as he is loyal, and his young squire Egg, who, beneath his bumbling exterior, is actually quite an important figure in the realm of the Seven Kingdoms… In a more intimate, more human way, this highly anticipated spin-off once again immerses us in the universe of G.R.R. Martin, and it promises to be absolutely delightful.

How to Get to Heaven from Belfast

Attention to everyone who, like us, adored the series Derry Girls. Lisa McGee is back with some new female characters that promise to be just as quirky and endearing as the first ones. Blending thriller and comedy, the series follows the adventures of three childhood friends now in their thirties, who find themselves reunited due to unforeseen circumstances after the death of a long-lost friend.

Young Sherlock

Long before becoming a prestigious detective, Sherlock Holmes was just another student at Oxford University... or almost. Guy Ritchie takes us back to the youthful years of one of the most fascinating characters in English literature, from his first loves to his first enemies, including his first mystery. A British series that we love, blending action, humor, thought, and drama, brilliantly led by the young Hero Fiennes Tiffin.

The Most Anticipated Sequels

The Bridgerton Chronicle, Season 4

After 3 tumultuous seasons focused on Daphne, Antony, and Colin, the series, one of the most popular on the platform, is back for a 4th season that promises to be just as scandalous. This time, it will center around the second sibling, the incredibly handsome yet very flirtatious Benedict, who is getting ready to find love at a massive masquerade ball. How delightful!

Euphoria, season 3

After months of news, rumors, scheduling changes, cancellations, promises, and rewinds, the season 3 of Euphoria has finally been greenlit and, great news, it will be available very soon. So until then, let's fill up on good news and cute moments to make sure we have our hearts racing when it airs. The only downside is that we're already sad to know that Fez won't be part of it...

On HBO April 13

The Bear, Season 5

Even though Season 4 was announced as the last one, The Bear, the greatest cooking series of all time behind Top Chef, is finally making a comeback! Given the latest available episode, we only have one question: will Carmy be joining in now that he has (spoiler alert: SPOILERS) handed over the keys to his restaurant to Syd? We really hope so!

Reboots We Can't Wait for, Yet Fear

Malcolm: Nothing Has Changed

More than 20 years after the original series ended, our favorite younger sibling is back on screen, and just by watching the trailer, the show clearly hasn't lost any of its charm. While Malcolm has been avoiding his family for years, he's forced to dive back into family chaos for his parents' 40th wedding anniversary. We will just miss Erik Per Sullivan, who won’t reprise his iconic role as Dewey.

On Disney+ April 10th

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: New Sunnydale

Even though we don’t have an official date yet for this sequel, let's just say we’re as excited as can be. For her big comeback as Buffy, Sarah Michelle Gellar is shaking things up a bit, as she will now be tasked not with slaying vampires one by one, but with training a new slayer instead. No matter what happens, we can’t wait!

A Prophet

It's undoubtedly one of the most iconic films of the 2000s. A masterpiece by Jacques Audiard, which the French platform has decided to turn into a series for our delight. The project promises to modernize this classic by offering a more current reinterpretation of the myth, set in contemporary Marseille, where young Malik finds himself immersed in a gang war in prison.
