A Cult Romantic Comedy
Nearly 20 years ago, director Nancy Meyers brought to the big screen a romantic comedy that still makes its way to theaters every winter and holiday season. The Holiday stars two women: Iris, a heartbroken Englishwoman played by Kate Winslet, and Amanda, an American portrayed by Cameron Diaz, who has been cheated on by her husband. Both decide to swap their homes – a charming little English cottage and a Californian villa – for the Christmas holidays. But that’s not all; the arrival of two men, Graham (Jude Law), Iris's brother, and Miles (Jack Black), will turn Iris and Amanda's lives and hearts upside down.
