2026, a record-breaking year for the Oscars
This 98th Oscar ceremony will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Organized, as every year, by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, it will be hosted by Conan O’Brien. And it looks like 2026 is going to be the year of records: the film Sinners has received a total of 16 nominations, more than Titanic or La La Land. Timothée Chalamet is the youngest actor nominated for both Best Actor and Best Picture, while Emma Stone is the first woman nominated for both acting and production.
