Outdoor cinema is back this summer at the Plaza Athénée!

We were eagerly waiting for it, and it's now official: the Plaza Cinema Club is making its grand return for a 2026 edition that’s already looking legendary. No need to explain the concept, right? Well, for the few newcomers, let’s refresh your memory.

Imagine the scene, close your eyes for two seconds… you step into the garden courtyard of the Plaza Athénée. Yes, that famous hidden spot, adorned with vines and its iconic red awnings. You’re handed a wireless headset for total immersion. The result: you’re in your bubble, alone in the world with the stars and the actors. The winning combo.

 

A gourmet menu 

But beware, at the Plaza, you don’t just come to “watch a movie.” The real highlight is the plate. The Palace has crafted a gourmet menu of the highest quality, always perfectly matched with each film being shown.

 

The Dreamy Lineup

On the film side, the palace has rolled out the big guns for this 2026 edition. On Monday, June 29, we kick things off with The Godfather : get ready for some Italian flavors just like at big Sicilian family feasts. On Tuesday, June 30, James Bond lands in the courtyard with Skyfall. A bold menu that takes us on a journey from Turkey to the Scottish Highlands, of course, with a Martini. On Wednesday, July 1, we’ll be screening Gladiator : strength and honor on our plates with rustic and imperial flavors (country bread, honey, roasted meats) to make you feel like you're at the Colosseum.

Thursday, July 2nd, a little tour in our beloved capital with The French Connection. We're revisiting the classics with a menu of “ Parisian street slang ” and a warm bistro-style cuisine that smells of Audiard's France. Friday, July 3rd, off to Miami with Scarface ! We're swinging between Cuban street food in Little Havana and the flashy luxury of Tony Montana. Then, to wrap it all up, on Saturday, July 4th, we’ll finish with the most glamorous movie in history : Pretty Woman. Strawberries, champagne, and a gala dinner on a silver platter.

The watchword: exclusivity. With only a few evenings under our belt, the spots are snatched up in the blink of an eye. Yes, the experience comes at a price (around 290€ per evening), but to experience a waking dream between gastronomy and big screen, it's the ultimate "cheat meal" of the summer.
