The Moving Body, In All Its Facets
This year, each session will follow the theme of the moving body, fitting into a program that's as fashionable as it is muscular. On Thursday, June 13, the festival will open with the documentary Fashion in France directed by William Klein in 1985. In 12 uninhibited sequences, the photographer will provide the user manual for fashion and the New Creators. He will explain who shapes it, why, and what it brings to the lives of citizens.
The next day, Friday, June 14, the Palais Galliera will screen the dramatic comedy by Marcel Carné The Air of Paris (1954), a story about boxing, the love of boxing, and love in general. Former boxer turned coach, Victor Le Garrec discovers a promising talent in the young André Ménard. He decides to take him under his wing so that he could become a professional, but Andre's career is compromised after his encounter with a certain Corinne.
Finally, on Saturday, June 15, the festival will end beautifully with the screening. Enjoy moving tales and unforgettable moments! 🎬🎥🍿
