The Editor

He has undoubtedly traumatized many of us when we were kids. Yet, Coraline is one of the most striking animated films of recent decades. On the agenda: absolutely stunning stop motion animations, hypnotic bright colors, and a fearless heroine who continues to fascinate us. And the good news is that it will be in theaters until the end of November!

Chills yes, but the kind we love

In this animated film that sits at the crossroads of Alice in Wonderland and Spirited Away, we follow Coraline's adventures, a little girl who struggles to connect with her parents, and finds herself thrust into a parallel reality.

where she finds the family and the life of her dreams.

However, here it is, as she decides to permanently settle in this Other World, the dream turns into a nightmare, while her Other mother becomes monstrous, and our intrepid (pre-)teen finds herself trapped without being able to find her own. It's a slightly crazy story, with some seriously creepy characters, that has managed to enchant us.

A newly reworked version

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of this masterpiece, the director is offering a completely new reworked version in 3D. “It’s not just a gimmick and has really been designed to immerse the audience in the action. I’ve carefully reworked it for this new release &ra ."he declared to the newspaper 20 Minutes.

Even more depth and stunning textures to enhance Coraline's attraction to the Other World, here's what awaits you at the movie screenings. And to enjoy this masterpiece on the big screen, head over until next Tuesday, November 12, as well as on November 16, 20, 23, and 24 in various theaters in the capital!
