A few weeks ago, we shared all our best tips for finding show tickets at the biggest theaters in Paris for just a small price. And since we know you’re art and culture enthusiasts, we decided to keep the momentum going and offer you all our tricks and advice for going to the movies without breaking the bank. Let’s just say, the little dark rooms will hold no secrets for you anymore!

Cheap cinema is for those who wake up early!

We regret to inform you that the best of the best tips for enjoying cheap movie sessions is to wake up early. In MK2 cinemas, you can snag tickets for just 9.90 euros instead of the regular 12.90 euros if you go before 12 PM. The same goes for UGC where tickets are 1.0.30 euros before noon, then it goes up to 15.50 euros. At the Grand Rex, tickets are 7 euros in the morning, 14 euros for the 2D Grand Room, and 17 euros for the 3D Grand Room. At Pathé Parnasse, tickets are 13.50 euros before noon, then increase to 19.50 euros afterwards. Just so you know: prices vary from one Pathé cinema to another.

Subscribe to Save More!

It's no secret, subscriptions are the most cost-effective option if you hit the cinema at least twice a month. At Pathé, the subscription at 22.90 euros per month (18.40 euros for those under 26) lets you enjoy as many screenings as you want! UGC Unlimited offers the same deal for 23.90 euros per month (19.90 euros for those under 26). And if you're more of an occasional moviegoer, now is a great time to invest in a 5-ticket pack for 47 euros at UGC (that’s just 9.40 euros per screening), 44.50 euros at MK2 (only 8.90 euros per screening), and 49 euros at Pathé (about 9.80 euros per screening). Of course, for those under 26, most cinemas offer special pricing on both individual tickets and subscriptions. It's up to you to compare the schedules and events to see which cinemas best suit your movie plans!

you correspond the most.

We Favor Independent Cinemas

While big chains lower their prices in the morning, they significantly raise them for the rest of the day, making it hard for night owls to enjoy the discounts. But come explore the world of independent cinemas, which have all sorts of tricks up their sleeves to offer you movies at more than reasonable prices. The capital is home to 30 across thirteen different districts, so there’s plenty to choose from! At the Louxor in the 10th, for example, you can snag tickets for €10.50 (€6.80 for reduced fare), just €5.50 at the Brady also in the 10th, and even €9 at the Luminor in central Paris. These are the temples for film lovers—the French Cinemathèque and the Forum des Images — are also the perfect spots to enjoy cinematic masterpieces for just 7.50 euros and 7.20 euros, respectively. So, what’s the next movie you're planning to see at the cinema?
