More beautiful in fiction than in real life, the platforms of Gare du Nord almost appear to us as a romantic meeting place now that we have seen Emm...Looking for Dex as you exit your train... In reality, it smells like pee and people are a bit weirder.

Le Pure Café
After picking up her guest at Gare du Nord, our heroine takes them for coffee in a typically Parisian place. While everything suggests that it is in the 9th arrondissement, following their route from Gare du Nord, it is actually located in the 10th arrondissement.
ute-alité in the 11th arrondissement. Your sharp-eyed editorial team actually found the address in question: it is the Pure Café, an establishment with the ambiance of an old-fashioned bistro where you can enjoy tasty traditional dishes - snails, good meats, or even tarte tatin. As a little anecdote, a scene from the movie Before Sunset (2004) with Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy was also filmed there!Voir cette publication sur Instagram

The Emmanuelle Riva footbridge
After their coffee, the two (almost) lovers wander around the 10th arrondissement passing by the Emmanuelle Riva footbridge, an iron bridge that crosses the Saint-Martin canal. After Emma talked to him about the writing of her second novel - and the fact that she was doing "field research" - Dexter questions his personal and professional future.

The Gobelins neighborhood
It seems like Emma and Dex really enjoy (a lot) walking, because after their stroll along the Saint-Martin canal, the two heroes end up at Emma's apartment, on Gobelins street in the 13th arrondissement, which is almost a 1-hour walk from their starting point! It is there that the young woman reveals her "writer's garret" to Dex - actually larger than most apartments one could claim, but we don't hold it against her.
It is at this very place that the series takes a whole new turn, but we wouldn't want to spoil those of you who have not yet completely immersed yourselves in it...
