This is the record-breaking series! Twelve years after its meteoric rise, the short series Bref has made a stunning comeback with a surprise second season on Disney+, and it's safe to say that the gamble paid off. With this modernized installment, Kyan Khojandi and Bruno Muschio, the original creators of Bref, have skillfully and stylishly highlighted the ups and downs faced by a forty-something in the midst of an existential crisis. They resonate more than ever with the generation they first captivated back in 2011. This new version, expanded to six 30-minute episodes and featuring a star-studded cast, has won over critics, even surpassing the highly sought-after score of 8/10 on the film enthusiast site Sens Critique.

But here’s the catch: while the excitement is high, you still need a Disney+ account.

to feed it. If you feel left out because you don’t have a subscription, here’s the tip you need to know to perhaps enjoy the episodes without spending a single penny.

Disney+, included in the Freebox Ultra offer

Great news for Freebox Ultra subscribers (or those planning to join the fun): Disney+ Standard with ads is included in your subscription! To enjoy it, it's super easy: just head to channel 132 on your TV via the Freebox TV Player, or log into your Free subscriber space from your computer, smartphone, or tablet. With just a few clicks, the magical world of Disney+ is ready for you, at no extra cost.

In short, everything restarts

In this second season, the adventure begins anew, with the same (or almost) characters, but ten years later. Kyan Khojandi’s "I" is now 40 years old and still facing struggles. His ex (Doria Tillier) has left him. His new roommate (Laura Felpin, a fresh face) is temperamental and a bit odd. His group of friends, still the same, has certainly evolved: one (Bérengère Krief) is in a polyamorous relationship, another (Baptiste Lecaplain) has just become a dad, and the last one (Mikaël Alhawi) is just annoying.

How did he get there? These six episodes provide the narrator with an opportunity to take stock of his life, while complaining a lot, filled with tons of sarcasm, and a whole range of hilarious guest stars to accompany him in his troubles – Jean-Paul Rouve, Alexandre Astier, Mister V, Mc Fly, Carlito, Jonathan Cohen, and Noémie Lvovsky. Whether thanks to your Freebox offer or by newly subscribing to Disney+ (&a .grave; starting from 5.99 €, so we're patiently waiting for your review.
