More than forty years of history
It was in the 1980s that Studio Ghibli was born, thanks to the efforts of Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata. Castle in the Sky became the first official film produced by the studio— the film Nausicaä, adapted from the eponymous manga, had been produced by Miyazaki before Ghibli was established. Aiming for a diverse audience, they transformed the world of cinema with high-quality feature films that continue to resonate and touch the hearts of viewers around the globe today. Are we meeting at the cinema on Sunday?
