The Editor

Created in 2017 by the magazine Terre de vins, the Tour des Cartes is a national event that rewards restaurants with the best wine lists. More than just a trophy, the Tour des Cartes values an entire profession, that of restaurateur. Among the 8,000 wine lists identified by Terre de Vins, over 700 have been examined by a panel of experts and professionals, resulting in a preselection of 100 establishments.

Celebrating Restaurateurs 

The Tour des Cartes takes on a special meaning this year and shows its support for the entire sector. To choose the most beautiful wine lists, several criteria were considered, including uniqueness and personality, price/quality, representativeness and diversity of the selection, as well as readability and rigor of the menu, dynamism and commercial approach. After several weeks of reviewing each of the menus, the jury has ranked the 100 most beautiful wine lists in France for each of the 6 categories.
