In the shape of a cone, crispy on the outside but soft on the inside... it's delicious! The Chimney Cake, a pastry from Hungary, has FINALLY arrived on the French Riviera. So, are you ready to taste a chimney cake or Kürtőskalács as it's called in its original name? 

Usually enjoyed at Christmas markets, now the good news is that in Nice, we can eat them all year round. Open since March, Örven Chimney Cake brings the best Hungarian cakes closer to us.

 

These fluffy brioches are rolled and baked around a wooden handle, which gives them their unique shape. It's a meticulous cooking method to achieve a result of a crispy, delicately flavored dough with orange blossom and caramelized on the outside, but extra soft on the inside! Available in savory or sweet versions to please all foodies at any time of the day.
