Coming from the fourth generation of Nice restaurateurs, Mathilde Servella has turned the dream of taking over this cherished spot into a lively tribute to her heritage. Originally from Saint-Isidore and the heir of the family restaurant Chez Jeannette, established in Castagniers since 1901, Mathilde proudly represents the colors of local gastronomy. She explains: "We produce in the village and deliver our products here," she tells our colleagues from Nice Presse. This approach guarantees authenticity and freshness.
The Ravioli Bar: A First in the Region
At this ravioli bar, customers can enjoy generous portions of homemade ravioli, paired with iconic sauces like daube or tomato. The concept is designed to satisfy all cravings: dine-in, take-out hot, or cold for homemade preparation. It’s a true celebration of the Nice terroir.
Servella grocery store also offers a wide range of local products. You can't miss the reinvented pan-bagnats, small stuffed veggies, ratatouille, and even panisses on the menu. On the dessert side, Mathilde, who is also a pastry chef in Saint-Martin-du-Var, rolls up her sleeves to create treats that are as fresh as they are delicious.
With carefully selected products and a vibe that blends tradition and friendliness, the Servella grocery store is a key spot for lovers of Nice's gastronomy. And of course, that includes us!
