In the next century, the French Riviera will see its temperature rise just like the rest of the planet. The UN announces and warns of a minimum increase of 3°C per French city. Some may even reach 4°C. Nice would then have an average temperature of 36°C... But the worst part? Heatwaves are estimated to reach an average of 50°C in Nice. So make sure to stay cool and hydrated!Capture JDD

According to Anne-Laure Gibelin, a researcher at Météo-France: "Our models show that by 2025 heat records will start to rise by 2 or 3 degrees in certain regions. This warming is progressing slowly. In the second half of the century, records are increasing everywhere in France and dramatically in the East".

These alarming studies are only the extreme cases of the worst scenarios. According to forecasters, it is not too late to act and ensure that cities become greener and more sensitive to the issue !
