At the heart of this excitement, the iconic Studios de la Victorine are shining brightly. Since their takeover in September by Victorine Studios, these historical locations have reached a new peak with 540 days of studio bookings in 2024. Established in 1919, the studios have hosted big names in cinema, and this renewal showcases their ability to adapt to the demands of modern productions while remaining a timeless symbol of the 7th art.

I can already see the comments popping up on Facebook: “But how can Nice have 610 filming days when there are only 365 days in a year?” Well, the explanation is quite simple: multiple productions can happen simultaneously in the same city. For example, if two teams film in different locations on the same day, it counts as two filming days. This way, the annual total can exceed the actual number of days in a year. Got it?

And the year 2024 is all about diverse filming...

cute; having invested in the public domain of Nice : 3 feature films, 4 TV series or TV movies, 16 documentaries, 26 television shows, 7 advertisements, 9 short films, 11 corporate films, 9 music videos, 30 photo shoots, and 8 school films. These numbers reflect the city's ambition to develop and enhance this sector in its territory (after all, it's so beautiful here...).
