Pascal Thiriot, president of Azur Sport Organisation, was thrilled with this impressive number, which exceeds the initial forecast of 15,000 to 17,000 participants. In total, 17,809 runners will take off on the four proposed distances, with 31% being foreigners representing 94 different nationalities. Charles Ange Ginésy, president of the Alpes-Maritimes Department Council, expressed his pride: "It's wonderful for our department, we hope to reach Paris." This marathon is now the second most important sporting event in France, right after the one in Paris, and the organizers don’t see any limits for the coming years, as long as the budget allows it.

The course, which remains unchanged, stretches over 42.195 kilometers between the Promenade des Anglais in Nice and the Croisette in Cannes, offering participants an exceptional view with 95% of the race by the sea. Runners will pass through five towns: Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Villeneuve-Loubet, Antibes, and Vallauris. A variety of options are also available, including relays with three, four, or five participants, a 20 kilometers race that stops at Villeneuve-Loubet, and a 2x21 kilometers duo run. On Saturday, November 2, a "breakfast run" will allow 300 runners to train on the famous Promenade des Anglais.
Before the big start, a running expo village will be held at Palais de la Méditerranée from October 31 to November 2, from 12 PM to 8 PM. A wonderful way to celebrate sports and tourism on the French Riviera!
