It's a little revolution in the world of F1: for the first time since its creation in 1929, the Monaco Grand Prix is changing its name. It will officially be called the Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix of Monaco. Until now, this legendary race has taken place without a main sponsor. But this year, the famous Swiss watch brand TAG Heuer has claimed the title of official partner. This is a first in nearly a century of history for this iconic event!

New name for a new era

TAG Heuer is no stranger in the world of F1. It has already been associated with legends of motorsport, like Niki Lauda, Ayrton Senna, and more recently, Max Verstappen. Additionally, the brand has been a partner of the Automobile Club de Monaco since 2011. This partnership is part of a broader collaboration between F1 and the luxury group LVMH, TAG Heuer's parent company. Starting this year, TAG Heuer will take over from Rolex as the official timekeeper of F1. And that's not all: Moët & Chandon, another brand of the group, will be making a comeback on the podiums, replacing Ferrari Trento!

Just a reminder, the Monaco Grand Prix 2025 will take place from May 23 to 25, 2025, so expect to see the TAG Heuer logo all around the circuit, including special clocks in the paddock!
