Even if you've never watched an episode of Naruto or tried a mochi, there's a good chance you'll still have a blast at this Japanese festival. On the agenda: conferences, workshops, exhibits, ceremonies, concerts... It's a whirlwind of fun, and trust me, you're going to love it!

DIY Workshops and Traditions to Try
Get ready to try out a bunch of fun stuff: learn origami (it's trickier than you might think), practice kanji calligraphy, write haikus, and put on a kimono or yukata. There’s even ikebana and manga pixel art, of course! And when it comes to conferences, you’re in for a treat, there’s one on the professions in manga, another about video game creation in Japan, and one on bonsais… Plus, a blind test and a Japanese pop culture quiz are being organized by the Manga Paradise association for the occasion.

A soft and relaxed atmosphere
On top of all that, you can wander through exhibitions of kimonos, kakemonos, and bonsais. There will even be a little harp and singing concert, Japanese tales, and a tea ceremony led by a master who has come specially for the event. It’s a great opportunity to slow down the pace a bit and take a real break in a beautiful setting!
