Faceted balls, arcade machines, DeLoreans, and '80s tubes: the International Fair of Nice is celebrating its 80th birthday from March 7 to 16 with a special 1980s edition that promises to bring back some memories. Ten days of shopping, entertainment, and unapologetic nostalgia at the Exhibition Palace, and all that starting from just €5!

When you celebrate your 80th birthday, why not do it in style? The International Fair of Nice has found the perfect theme for this special edition. From March 7 to 16, the Exhibition Palace will turn into a huge time machine, with the 80s as its guiding star. Glitter, iconic sounds, and a retro vibe: right from the entrance, the atmosphere is set. Over 15,000 m², more than 350 exhibitors and brands will fill the usual spaces to offer advice, comparisons, and great deals to nearly 80,000 expected visitors throughout the event.

DeLorean, retro gaming, and stand-up 

When it comes to entertainment, the organizers have gone all out. The "Back to the Future" exhibition will feature a genuine DeLorean and an Alpine R5, two icons of the decade that are sure to attract plenty of selfies. A retro gaming area will bring back the thrill of pinball machines and more!

Arcade games, while a retrospective of 18 cult films organized with the Cinémathèque de Nice will delight nostalgic movie lovers. On the evenings side, the program is packed: outdoor DJ sets on March 7 and 14 for a fun afterwork with good company, a big Nostalgia 80s night to sing at the top of your lungs to hits we thought were forgotten, and a stand-up comedy night in partnership with the Bobar to keep laughing. An arcade game station will also let you win nearly €40,000 in prizes because a fair without big prizes isn't really a fair.

€5 entry and up to €40,000 to win

Big news for this anniversary edition: passes for €6 that grant access to the Fair along with a themed experience of your choice (movie screening, retro-gaming session, or special evening). A simple entry remains at €5, with reduced rates for students, job seekers, and people with reduced mobility. Local producers will be highlighted in the "Local Products" area, and promising young brands will have their own showcase with the "Helping Hands." Food trucks and gourmet spaces will complete the experience, as you might guess!
