The 46 hairpin bend road is reopened! Absolutely mythical and sublime, it promises to give you access to amazing viewpoints. From Nice, all you have to do is reach Tende and follow the road to cross the Italian border without going through the tunnel. The pass you will take is amazing and will lead you to Cuneo.
However, be careful! The 46 hairpin bend road will only be open during the summer season as desired by the Prefectures of Alpes-Maritimes and Cuneo. And that's not all: you can only use it during the day from 6am to 10pm and if the weather conditions are good for safety reasons.
To limit access and preserve nature, access is also reserved only for the following people:
- Residents of Limone Piemonte, Vernante, Tende, Breil-sur-Roya, Saorge, Fontan, and La Brigue
- Border workers
- Tourists and walkers coming from Italy who justify a reservation in Casterino (restaurant, hotel or any establishment)
