The Editor

Discreet from the outside, nestled at 5 rue Barillerie, Le Panier doesn’t go for the flashy approach. Inside, however, it’s a different story: a polished atmosphere, friendly service, and above all, the signature cuisine of Aurélien Martin, a passionate chef straight from the Hautes-Alpes.

No classic menu, no lengthy list. At Le Panier, everything revolves around a "blank slate" menu, or rather four culinary "stops" that change regularly. At lunch, you can embark for €47, and in the evening, you choose between 5 dishes (€69) or 7 dishes (€79). Every service is a surprise, and that’s exactly why we love this place!

A menu that piques curiosity

What's on the plate? It's hard to say in advance, and that's the beauty of the concept. But those who have had the chance to dine here rave about seasonal vegetables: asparagus, artichokes, celery, kiwis, carrots… Not to mention meats and fish with hints of citrus, yuzu, or shellfish.

The place only opens a few days a week (Thursday and Friday evenings, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for lunch and dinner) but every service is an event. The word-of-mouth is still going strong. In a city where tourist spots are everywhere, Le Panier stands out thanks to its high standards and authenticity. It's no surprise that the rave reviews keep pouring in!
