Jan got this passion for cooking from his mother and grandmother who instilled in him the sense of hospitality so cherished in South Africa. There is no doubt, in his restaurant, Jan knows how to welcome guests and put on a great spread.
In the room with blue-gray walls, stone pillars, elegant chandeliers, huge bouquet, and classic paintings create a super chic and romantic atmosphere. On the menu, three options: 3, 4, or 6 plates to choose from depending on your hunger, each time with or without food and wine pairing.
Here, the festival begins: oyster macaron, oyster leaves, buchu and apple; sweet pumpkin in a pot, wild mushrooms and creamy spicy sauce to die for; delicious sea bass, crab, pumpkin and rooibos juice.
