Madeleine de Proust de notre enfance, le bol de céréales se perd souvent au fil du temps. Alors quand on a appris qu'un bar à céréales venait d'ouvrir ses portes à Nice, on a immédiatement sauté de joie et préparé nos estomacs.

A Proustian madeleine from our childhood, the cereal bowl often gets lost over time. So when we heard that a cereal bar had just opened its doors in Nice, we immediately jumped for joy and prepared our stomachs.

Get out the bowls, the fluorescent spoons, and the liters of milk: it's time for breakfast (or snack)! Since July 15th, the very first cereal bar in Nice has opened its doors at 22 rue Tonduti de l'Escarene to delight the big kids that we always are. Going by the sweet name of Crunchy Bol, this temple of indulgence should quickly find its audience and be stormed at snack time.

And the menu is most enticing: between 20 and 25 types of cereals from around the world that change every week, around ten types of milk, classic bowls to cover with your choice of toppings, as well as milkshakes and ice cream topped with cereals, savory waffles and pancakes, and American meals served at lunchtime starting from September.

Among the cereal options, we find all the brands that have accompanied our childhood: Cookie Crisps, Chocapic, Cheerios, Honey Pops, Cheetos, Special K, Muesli, or Lion, but also some lesser-known names like Choco Flakes, Crunchy Nut, Froot Loops, Lucky Charm, Cotton Candy Crunch, and Sour Patch Kids. For milk choices, there's coconut milk, rice milk, almond milk, hazelnut milk, as well as strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla flavored milk.

And to finish delighting the most greedy ones, it is also possible to add a scoop of ice cream to your bowl of cereal… So, happy?
