The Editor

At just 33 years old, Sélim M’Nasri has already traveled the world with his culinary skills. Trained by greats like Marcel Ravin, Dominique Crenn, and Alexandre Mazzia, he has explored kitchens from Monaco to Singapore before returning to whip up his magic in his hometown. With Épicentre, he opens his first restaurant and even weaves his DNA into the logo: his fingerprint. The dishes evolve with the seasons, harvests, and inspirations of the chef. Spices, the true guiding threads of his cuisine, enhance each product to perfection.

Among the already iconic dishes are a Niçoise stew twisted with cocoa, a mackerel gravlax, and a confit trout. And for those who crave a total experience, two tasting menus showcase the chef's creativity: the “7 spices” (89€) and the grand Shingenchi menu served at the chef's table (1.49€).

A close-knit team and spotlight on producers

Behind every plate at Épicentre, there’s a passionate team and a carefully selected network of artisans. In the dining room, sommelier Ken Durao elegantly pairs wines with dishes, while young chef de partie Sébastien Lougassi and his assistant Hiseam Bardai orchestrate the kitchen with precision. Local producers are not forgotten: farmers, fishermen, butchers, and master grocers all help write the story of this place. This sincere approach places people at the heart of the project, and it shows in every bite.

Already one of the most sought-after tables in Nice

Open from Thursday to Monday only in the evenings, Épicentre is a true gem.ue la rareté… and it works ! Fully booked several days in advance, the restaurant has quickly risen among the top-rated spots in the city, with nearly 200 unanimously glowing Google reviews ! A lightning-fast success story that confirms Nice was thirsty for a table that is both trendy and deeply rooted in its territory !
