The idea was born in the mind of Alain Cecchetti, the architect of the place but also an actor in his spare time. After chatting with artists looking for venues to perform, he thought: why not create a hybrid space, somewhere between a restaurant and a theater, where people can toast, snack, and have a good laugh? The result: a flexible stage, tables that can be stowed away, an illuminated scene, and up to 60 spectators expected at each performance as explained by our colleagues from Nice Matin.
A first evening under the spotlight
For the launch, Alain's troupe took to the stage with "Rendez-vous en quartier inconnu", a comedy by Pascale Valentini Daniel that takes a playful twist on the cult show “Rendez-vous en terre inconnue.” The format is.
simple and pretty cool : €15 for entry, including a drink and a tapas. In the future, the place plans to offer several options and test different formats.A lively and evolving scene
After the summer, it's artist Marco HF who will take over with a monthly event starting in September, and other companies are already in the lineup. It's a wonderful place that truly deserves its success, and honestly, who would say no to an evening filled with laughter, good food, and drinks... all in one place!
