What could be more exciting than celebrating the Indian summer and the return of vacation with a weekend festival in an iconic location in Nice? Luckily, the Crossover Festival is here to delight our little ears and make us tap our feet until the night falls. On Friday, September 5, and Saturday, September 6, at 109, the best of the best of Francophone artists will gather, featuring a special highlight: a mix of genres.

Celebrating Urban Cultures

After an exciting first highlight at the beginning of May – with the sold-out event concert of Sofiane Pamart at the Théâtre de la Verdure – the Crossover Festival is back in September, and as usual, promises to introduce us to a maximum of Francophone artists with different styles and sensibilities. Always with a certain attachment to the urban cultures that energize today's youth, the festival announces a sharp program with special attention given to the new rising stars of the rap and hip-hop scene

First off, you can't miss L2B, a trio made in Champigny-sur-Marne, formed by three childhood friends – IDS, KLN, and D2 – who have been making hearts race since their very first track “Guette le flow,” recorded when they were just 12 years old. Today, with three gold singles and jam-packed Parisian venues, they're stopping by sunny Nice on September 5, before lighting up the Zénith in Paris this November. Joining them is Jyeuhair, a young Franco-Malagasy prodigy revealed in Season 3 of Nouvelle École (Netflix), bringing his silky and unique vibes. And for those who love it hard-hitting: 1PLIKÉ140 serves up his drill straight up, while H JeuneCrack weaves sounds at the intersection of rap, jazz, and French chanson. In short, this is a rap lineup ready to blast the speakers!

Night Market, food court, and DJ sets

A must-visit for t

All lovers of sound, the Crossover is going to dazzle the folks of Nice with three stages (including one fully dedicated to afro house and amapiano), but also with an Urban Night Market, scratch workshops, a food court, and skate and graffiti sessions… A whole bunch of electrifying events that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end of the night, we promise!

Want more? To keep you buzzing, the festival is going all out with an amazing lineup of DJs and collectives. On Saturday, it's Mel V melting the decks with her hybrid beats and avant-garde sounds. Known for her surprising transitions and unique style, she has shared the stage with iconic artists like Kaytranada, Justice, and Busy P... DJ Mel Woods will have hearts dancing with her vibrant mix of baile funk, trap, and afro house. A musical explorer, she gives a voice to those who are often unheard, delivering a set as bold as it is fresh. And for a double dose of pleasure, the Nice collectives Episode and Twelty will pump up two stages all weekend long. Episode will storm the big top with its urban, street, and arty influences, while Twelty will transform Frigo 16 into a sound cocoon filled with house, electro pop, r'n'b, hip-hop, and so much more.
