Behind its 140 m² of vibrant pop colors and sparkling atmosphere, Ramdam hides a rare gem: it’s the first bar in France to feature a genuine art gallery. Here, every two months, a new artist takes over the space. Painting, photography, sculpture... each exhibition brings its own surprises and invites discovery. By the way, fun fact: this bar isn’t just pretty, it also saves lives, and that's no exaggeration. Ramdam is the first bar in Nice to be equipped with a defibrillator that’s accessible even outside opening hours, how cool is that?
A new exhibition every two months
Behind this extraordinary place, we find Robert and Raphaël Bellon, a passionate couple married for 23 years. Their idea? To blend their love for art with their desire to create a space for sharing. “When we hear that…’A bar showcases art, we can picture paintings between the tables. Here, we have a whole room dedicated to exhibitions”, explains Raphaël, proud of this project that has been energizing the port district since its inauguration in 2024 by Christian Estrosi. And the success goes beyond the Nice borders: tourists themselves celebrate this unique concept, which you won't find anywhere else !

What makes Ramdam so special are the stories it tells. Take Eros, for example: a bartender at Ramdam, he is also the fourth artist to exhibit here. Originally from Armenia, he faced tough challenges in his homeland before finding new inspiration in Nice. His drawings, some over 12 years old, now brighten the walls of the bar. “Exhibiting here is a triumph over life,” he shares. The regulars love this diversity. With each new exhibition, the excitement is tangible: you never know what you’ll discover, but you’re rarely disappointed.
Between DJ sets and inspiring encounters
And if art enchants you, but you're mostly in the mood to dance, Ramdam has thought of everything! With its schedule alternating between electro-pop parties and fascinating discussions, this place is a true gem. You might even run into personalities like Jean-Paul Cluzel, a former pr&ea.cute; President of Radio France, or Philippe Joanny, a committed writer, came to share their ideas.
With its blend of celebration, culture, and humanity, the Ramdam is already the new place to be in Nice. So, are you ready to be surprised ?
