We're all pretty much on the same page: we'll never get tired of melted cheese! There's even a deep, primal need to indulge in at least a little bit each year, or else we risk ending the winter feeling frustrated. At La Cave du Fromager, promises are kept and even exceeded: we can feast on our favorite melted cheeses, but above all, these are products chosen for their exceptional quality. From gold-medal Camembert to expertly prepared Colonata bacon, this cheese cave introduces us to the very best of the terroir.

It must be said that Mathieu, who took over the restaurant a year and a half ago, learned from the best. Raised in the halls of the hotel school in Nice where his father taught, and in his grandmother's kitchen, he quickly developed a passion for gastronomy. So, when it came time to open his restaurant, it was only natural for him to and a passionate waitress.

If you love chatting about good food with a mouthful, you've found the perfect conversation partner! Mathieu will share everything about the natural wines that fill the walls of his cellar. The winemakers, the winemaking techniques, nature, organic: he knows his bottles inside and out, even though they come from all over the world.

When it comes to cheese and charcuterie, Maeva will share everything, absolutely everything with you! From the different types of milk to the seasons, not to mention the regions and the aging processes, nothing escapes her knowledge. But that's not all! At the Cave du Fromager, the experienced chefs don’t just melt cheese in a fondue pot, they create a mouthwatering menu of appetizers and desserts each day. From parsley snails to caramelized foie gras or a perfect egg, it goes without saying that the quality on your plate is top-notch.

We almost forgot to mention: the Cave du Fromager is, first and foremost... a cellar. You'll dine among the bottles and the lovely lights that decorate the arched stone walls. It's super cozy in winter, refreshing in summer (with a menu that changes accordingly), making it the perfect temperature all year round!
