The Church of Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur, known to locals as Gésu, is a baroque gem nestled in the cool streets of Old Nice. This summer, it hosts an original concept: a brunch in the heart of the church!
A basket signed by Marinette
Behind this brunch is Marinette, the beloved coffee shop of the locals. Their brunch basket, beautifully prepared and delivered on-site, includes everything you need to start your day right: 1/2L of lemonade, an indispensable pastry, a slice of lemon cake, a cookie, a pistachio braid, two yogurts with homemade granola and fresh fruits, and 4 chouquettes. All accompanied by a homemade elixir prepared by Bethel: espresso, Americano, green tea, mint tea, latte.Incense and honey, and of course signature water Cold Light.

Until August 31 only
This mystical brunch is offered every Saturday and Sunday morning, from 8 AM to 11 AM, until August 31. The basket is €25 for one, or €45 for two. A lovely idea for an outing with friends or a romantic date, away from the crowded terraces. But aAttention: you absolutely must book in advance! This might be the only place in France where you can brunch in a church… and it’s happening in Nice.
Address: 1 Pl. du Jésus, 06300 Nice, France
