While tourists still flocked to Nantes this summer, we have prepared a little list of commandments for integrating into the historical capital of Brittany. So, to you dear tourists and new students, here are some rules to adopt if you want to blend in with the crowd.

1) You will eat LU


As a pure butter Nantais, you have eaten, you eat, and you will eat these cookies until death do you part.

2) LU, you must visit

Sure, you love your petit beurres, but the Lieu Unique remains the place for you, the place where culture and petit beurres meet. Let's go!

3) You shall take the Bicloo

Yes, those orange and gray bikes that are already celebrating their 9th spring this year.

4) You will discover the Machines of the Isle

You can then say at your next party « Did you know that in my city, there is an elephant ? »

5) You will go to Katorza

A cinema that needs no introduction to the people of Nantes, focused on Art House films, offering screenings in original versions and film festivals!

 

6) You will have a blast at Le Stéréolux

Le Stéréolux is the flagship venue of Nantes culture, it's THE must-see stage in the region.

7) At the Electro Tasting you will relax

Listening to good music, on Sunday afternoons outdoors, it's possible and it happens on the lawns of the Loire riverbanks.

8) You will take a boat around Ile de Versailles 

No electro drops on the horizon, the sun is coming out, why not take a boat ride!? You think it's too much? Well, we love it!

9) You will equip yourself with an umbrella

Because, as a resident of Nantes, you have surely noticed that the rain is never far away, but that doesn't stop you from loving this city.

10) You will never leave Naoned
