Fresh water for the little ones and peace of mind for the adults!
Every summer, from June 7 to September 7, the paddling pools in Nantes open their basins for free to the delight of children (up to 12 years old), always under the watchful eye of a responsible adult, of course. And these little urban oases are never empty! On the hottest days, more than a thousand young swimmers are splashing around by 4 PM. In total, over 40,000 children enjoy them every summer.
Exciting new features that make splashing around irresistible
This year, the City of Nantes is continuing to pamper its paddling pools, with several key renovations:
*The Breil paddling pool will reopen in mid-June with a brand new look, comfortable benches, and even loungers to chill on while the kids play
*Grande Garenne will make its comeback on June 27, featuring a redesigned basin, new fun spaces, and plants for added freshness
*Grande Noue will have to wait until after summer for its transformation, but we’re already promised some exciting changes!

*The Breil wading pool
