The Barges of Nantes
Pépé Guinguette
The banks of the Erdre River and the Île de Versailles are highly regarded for their beauty and tranquility. Not far away, easy to spot, a blue and white barge is moored next to the Saint-Michel bridge, and its friendly sailors offer you a warm welcome and a short and seasonal menu. This barge in Nantes will give you a breath of fresh air and perhaps tempt you with a juicy grilled ribeye steak or, being on a boat, a lobster with white butter sauce. The dishes come with homemade fries and a delightful assortment of fresh vegetables. Of course, you can simply enjoy a drink there if you feel like it, on the terrace or even on the steps by the Erdre River. Isn't it cute with these little tables...
We come out of here with a smile and the desire to go have fun!

Le Bateau Lavoir
Le Bateau Lavoir is one of the must-visit addresses and among the favorite barges in Nantes, especially when the good weather comes. Let's have some fun today.
The whole Ceineray basin has become a giant picnic area where the people of Nantes love to relax and have an aperitif once the nice weather arrives. The Bateau Lavoir has probably contributed to this, and this establishment aims to be a place of exchange and meetings through the events organized there: concerts, exhibitions, cabaret shows, meetings with winemakers,...

La Casa
After serving the people of Nantes in several bars in the area, Yann and .Cris and her husband decided to team up and open their own establishment, a barge in Nantes. With a desire for something exotic, they came up with La Casa, a Caribbean-inspired bar located on a barge in the heart of Nantes. La Casa aims to promote social and cultural connections between Nantes and the Caribbean, in a unique place that invites you to travel.
When you think of a bar with Caribbean inspiration, you automatically think of rum. At La Casa, there are no less than 85 references that will take you on a one-way trip to the Caribbean. You can enjoy them by the glass, or in cocktails created by the house. To accompany your drinks, you can choose bowls with exotic flavors (named Santo Domingo, Mexico, Kingston, or Havana), or shareable snack platters for even more conviviality.
