The summit of the Sainte-Anne hill

The highest point of the Chantenay neighborhood, the Sainte-Anne hill overlooks Nantes. To reach the statue of Sainte-Anne blessing the Loire River and its sailors, you have to climb 121 steps. Turn around. And admire. Don't forget to snap some pics for Snapchat and Instagram, it would be a shame to climb the steps again.

The ramparts of the Château des Ducs de Bretagne

Built in the 13th century, the Château des Ducs is mainly known as the residence of Anne of Brittany, who was queen of France twice (way to go, mother Anne!). Visiting the rooms is very informative, but what we love most about the Château is the walk - free access - on its ramparts, which offer a breathtaking view of Nantes, the LU Tower and the city's rooftops.

The back of the Elephant from the Machines de l'Île...

... or inside one of the creatures of the Carrousel des Mondes Marins... And soon, on one of the branches of the Arbre aux Hérons! The ambitious projects of the Machines de l'Île have something magical about them, transporting us to their universe... while allowing us to rediscover the city from a different perspective. So, if you haven't done so already, hurry up for a ride on the back of an elephant and snap away with your smartphone.

The roof of the National School of Architecture of Nantes

This is the kind of place that makes you want to become an architect right away! First of all, the neighborhood is great, then, the decor is just crazy enough and the rooftop terrace is... perfect! The Voyage à Nantes even set up a skatepark here during the summer of 2015! From here, you can almost see the Loire River flowing into the Atlantic!
