10.8 km Hike - 2h45 walking time

If it's tranquility you're looking for, then look no further, hiking along the Breton marshes is where you need to go. Whether on paved roads or on the paths that run alongside the marshes, there's no noise to be heard on the horizon. Except maybe for the sound of birds or donkeys you might come across along the way. After nearly 11 km of walking, you'll probably want to sit on a terrace or grab a bite to eat. For that, enjoy the center of Machecoul before heading back.

After a few kilometers along the bank, you will cross the river by a bridge, to reach a little further the banks of the Gesvres. A few steps in the woods, others on the pontoons. You will also (re)discover the Nantes racecourse along the way. Then it is along the Cens that the hike ends.
