This summer, the residents of Nantes and passing visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy their favorite parks long after sunset. A breath of fresh air for those seeking some coolness.

In response to a growing demand for evening activities and as part of a policy aimed at rejuvenating public spaces, the municipality has decided to extend the opening hours of several iconic parks in the city. Here is an overview of the parks that are accessible at night until September 29.

1. The Jardin des Plantes

The iconic Jardin des Plantes in Nantes is open until 9:30 pm throughout the summer. Visitors can stroll under the stars, discover the specially designed light installations, and enjoy a peaceful setting in the heart of the city.

2. The Parc de Procé

With its vast lawns and large trees, Parc de Procé is perfect for outdoor evenings.

3. The Parc du Grand Blottereau

Known for its themed gardens and exotic atmosphere, Parc du Grand Blottereau also opens its doors until 11pm. Guided night tours will be offered for those interested.
