Choc Hola
The specialty of the house, you guessed it, is... chocolate! This little shop on Saint-Léonard Street is run by Marion and Ivan, who import their cocoa beans from Mexico (without intermediaries, thanks to a cooperative, in line with fair trade principles). The beans are ground and roasted before our eyes to be turned into bars, ice cream, and also... hot drinks! You can add many flavors: chili, cinnamon, hazelnuts... A must-try for hot (or cold) chocolate.

Maison Grimaud
The Maison Grimaud is a paradise for those with a sweet tooth! This tea salon has built its concept around choux pastry, which it offers in sweet and savory versions. Of course, when it comes to choux pastry, there's always room for hot chocolate! It's delicious, tested and approved (more than once) and the setting, right in the center yet quiet, is superb! A place to keep secret for your get-togethers with girlfriends.

Sugar BLUE Café
The Sugar BLUE Café, or Sugar Blue for regulars, is a small café created in August 2014 by Emmanuelle and Marlyse, two friends full of curiosity and gourmet taste. Here, a cuisine with Anglo-Saxon influences mixed with their French expertise is offered from Tuesday to Saturday. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, from breakfast to snack time, and their hot chocolates are amazing! Special mention to their white hot chocolate, which is to die for! And once a month on Sundays, they have a brunch!

Amorino
The master ice cream maker knows how to delight us all summer with ultra-gourmet ice creams, but in winter, Amorino excels in preparing a hot chocolate the old-fashioned way, smooth, creamy and so delicious that it's sinful! Don't overdo it if you want to indulge in ice cream this summer, but this gourmet gem is worth enjoying at least once this winter.

Curieux Coffeeshop
The very first independent coffee shop in Nantes (opened in 2010) is a true haven to enjoy a chocolatey break with friends. We love their coffees and chocolates with original and evocative names like the Hammer of Thor (that one really wakes you up). Those with a sweet tooth will also be satisfied with a gourmet coffee topped with whipped cream, a drizzle of hot chocolate, and caramelized hazelnuts. In short, a must for hot drinks right in the heart of Nantes (Commerce station, line 2).
