Bibimbox: Korean Street Food
Arrived in Nantes in early 2016, Bibimbox quickly became a reference for Bibimbap enthusiasts, this traditional Korean dish which is a mix of marinated meat, rice, sautéed vegetables, all splashed with soy sauce or spicy with Korean fermented chili. Bibimbap is a explosion of colors for the eye and flavors in the mouth all served in a bowl. At Bibimbox the cuisine is Korean but the ingredients are local and come from, among others, the Talensac market.
For lunch, it's Bibimbap for everyone, with a choice of 5 seasonal vegetables, 6 garnishes (marinated beef, chicken, tofu, tuna flakes, marinated pork, salmon), and soy/sesame or chili sauce. In the evening, you can discover other delights of Korean cuisine as starters such as Mandus (Korean vegetable dumplings), Kimbap (Korean sushi roll), or Dwenjang (soybean paste soup). For the main course, it's Bibimbap or Korean barbecue served with 3 Banchan, salad, and a bowl of rice.
