On sunny days, this haven of peace is surrounded by rose bushes. The venue is located in a charming old building (and probably full of history). Inside the long vaulted stone room, the decor is super sleek.

Emporietto is a heartwarming tale of the Guiducci family and Roberto, who established a local grocery store and artisanal coffee roastery in Rome during the 1950s. Their daughter Fiorella made the move to Nantes in 2011 to introduce Café Guiducci and a range of artisanal goods that highlight the culinary excellence of Latium (the region surrounding Rome). More recently, Emporio transformed into " Emporietto " with the addition of a restaurant, now managed by Jonas, Fiorella's son, alongside chef Marco Crupi and pastry chef Clémentine Tennerel.

When it comes to the menu, the team takes inspiration from traditional Italian cuisine, but the dishes are decidedly modern. The recipes evolve with the seasons and showcase both Italian artisanal products and those from the Nantes region.
For starters, we went for the raw Marsala lacquered tuna / Grilled watermelon / Watermelon foam / Glazed watermelon skin and candied lemon. As a main course, we couldn't resist the linguine and tomato variation / Fresh tomato and mint / Cherry tomato compote / Concentrated tomato powder. For dessert, a moist Mandarin and lemon infused cake / Creamy ricotta / Red pepper coulis. Bold flavors, just the way we like it.
All this with just the right cooking and seasonings. Let yourself be surprised by Marco and Clémentine's inventive cuisine! Comfortably seated on the terrace, glass in hand, you are immersed in a soothing setting.
