Le Gaumont Nantes Multiplexe

Let's be honest, a trip to Gaumont might cost you a bit! Unless you are 1) under 14 years old, 2) a student but still paying full price, 3) a senior with no discount. But you have to admit that when it comes to movie selection, all the films are shown in Gaumont and in their original version (we're talking about the big Hollywood movies, for indie films you have other options in Nantes!). And for premieres and the chance to meet Jean Dujardin before he heads to La Cigale, this is the place to be.

Prices: regular 11€.Before 12pm €7.10, -14 years €4.50, students €7.50, and seniors €9.10

Le Katorza

It owes its name to a funny character, named Salomon Katorza, who set up his traveling cinema in several cities in France, often around Nantes. In 1920, he set up a permanent cinema in Nantes: the Katorza. Bombed and destroyed in 1943, the Katorza rose from its ashes in 1951 and has since offered a demanding programming. It is classified as art and essay and hosts many Nantes film festivals.

Prices: normal 8.50€, 6.50€ for seniors and bicloo subscribers, 6€ for students and under 18s, and 4€ for morning sessions.

-14 years old and Tuesday for the movies that are leaving the screens.
