The Editor

Gadjaks is a project born from the imagination of Sabina, a Mauritian born in Paris who terribly missed the cuisine of her island in Nantes. So she took courage in both hands and decided to open her Mauritian cuisine restaurant with Thomas, her partner. And that's how Gadjaks was born in March 2019.

At this cozy fast food spot, Thomas and Sabina always greet you with a smile. You can dine inside, soak up the sun on the terrace, or grab your food to go on weekdays during lunchtime. We tried out this place and were absolutely enchanted by what they have to offer.gadjaks

What's good to eat at Gadjaks?

At Gadjaks, we eat... Gadjaks! This Mauritian word actually means tapas. These tapas can be consumed as starters in various forms (savoury fritters, fish vindaye, chicken catless), and they vary every week. The other flagship dish at Gadjaks is Mine Boui, which means boiled noodles in Mauritian.

When it comes to the dishes, you can choose between Mine Boui (boiled noodles) or Mine Frit, with side dishes that change each week. For these side dishes, you will always find a proposal around meat, a proposal around fish, and a vegetarian option. The result is an explosion of flavors in your mouth, whether you choose the spicy sauce or not.
