The Editor

For the little story, PNY (aka Paris New-York) was born in 2012 from a road trip in the United States. Rudy Guénaré, co-founder, walked more than 5,000 km from Mexico to Canada. And 10 km of walking a day really works up an appetite, but also gets the creative juices flowing. After tasting burgers from all over America, he came back to Paris with a clear idea: "to make the best burgers on Earth." And apparently, he's on the right track. At least he has won over Paris and even Lyon in recent months. Now, it's Nantes' turn to welcome the establishment, which will open its doors on June 1st at 1 rue Gresset.

Gourmet burgers with exceptional ingredients

PNY is not just any fast-food joint. They stand out from ordinary street-food restaurants by the quality of their ingredients. Here, they focus on using exceptional products, carefully chosen. The burger's main star, the steak, receives special attention. The meat is aged (meaning it spends 3 weeks in a cold room), making it more tender and flavorful. And as a bonus, the cows are raised outdoors!

But it doesn't stop there. The cheese, cheddar straight from our English neighbors, is also aged for 6 months. The bread used is the result of over 50 tests and their fries are made from potatoes from sustainable agriculture. Just the thought of it already makes our mouth water!

When it comes to diet, you'll have to come back later, because here we don't skimp on melted cheese, fried onions, and grilled bacon. But when you love something, you don't count! And to top it off, they also offer very tempting desserts. Our hearts are torn between the chocolate chip-peanut cookies and the caramel-beach-milkshake...

The only downside: the price. A PNY burger will cost you around 13 euros, but it's hard to resist the sides (who eats a burger without fries?!), the tempting desserts, and the refreshing drinks...
