Despite an undeniable charm and a vibrant atmosphere, Nantes still disappoints by ranking 59th out of 119 in the ranking of the safest cities in France published by Le Parisien this weekend. A setback that tarnishes the city's image, yet so renowned for its art of living and dynamism. To establish this ranking, Le Parisien relied on crime data provided by the Ministry of the Interior, taking into account a multitude of criteria such as burglaries, thefts, and assaults in cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants. And the finding is clear: Nantes has not been able to compete with the cities that are better off in terms of security.
